Anglesey has many beautiful venues for a wedding, so it was no surprise that Jenny and Jo chose picturesque Trearddur Bay for their wedding.
It wasn’t the sunniest of days, but it stayed dry and the beaming brides and their guests more than made up for the lack of sunshine.
After an emotional ceremony, the brides and their guests made their way to the edge of the beach for some photos and then we escaped with just the brides over to Porth Dafarch for some quieter photos on the headland.
This wonderful couple never stopped smiling at each other and it was so touching to see what an amazing bond they have with each other and their families, and so much love all around!
This couple went the extra mile to surprise each other throughout their day with thoughtful touches here and there, and an amazing choreographed dance with their children to kick start the evening!
We really enjoyed photographing this fantastic couple, Jenny and Jo we wish you nothing but love and happiness for your lives together. Thank you for a wonderful day!
We always have a ‘plan B’ in mind for Wedding days where the weather isn’t good enough for outdoor photographs, and yesterday morning, with torrential rain and gale force winds battering Anglesey, that plan was firmly in place. However, five minutes before the Bride arrived at Trearddur Bay Hotel, the rain stopped, the clouds began to clear and even though the wind was still strong, the sun started to peek out. We couldn’t believe our luck, but sure enough, as the ceremony finished, the sun came out in full force and we were able to take advantage and get outside for photographs.
Gemma and Steve were a fantastic couple to work with and we were so pleased they chose us to photograph their Wedding Day. We absolutely loved their commitment to getting some photos by the sea, even though the spray from the waves was blowing over us all and the wind was wreaking havoc with hair and dresses. Gemma must have been freezing! We hope we made it worthwhile.
Thank you both for an amazing day, we loved being a part of it, love and happiness to you always 🙂
The forecast for Saturday’s Wedding with Karen and Gwynfor was not good, and sure enough we had rain pretty much all day, but that didn’t stop the Bride and Groom and all their family and friends having a fantastic day. Acacia supplied the gorgeous flowers, Halo, Holyhead, and Vintage Beauty made sure the Bridal party all looked their amazing best and with dresses from The Bridal Room and Gwisgfa Brides and suits from Trevor Jones, Caernarfon, everyone looked stunning.
After a beautiful ceremony in Llanfachraeth church we travelled over to the Trearddur Bay Hotel for the Wedding breakfast and reception. I Do Wedding Hire had dressed the room and it looked fantastic whilst the cake by Heavens Cakes was one of the best we’ve seen.
Even though we didn’t manage to get outside for many photos, we still had an amazing day photographing everyone, no one complained about the rain and we really enjoyed the day with Karen, Gwynfor and all their guests. We wish them a lifetime of happiness 🙂
