Telor & Lowri

Telor and Lowri were married yesterday at St Eleth’s church in Amlwch in a ceremony that was beautiful and unique with lots of laughing, a few tears and a glass of wine too!
After a horrendous day of rain on Friday, this couple were blessed with blue skies and sunshine all day for their wedding, and we made the most of it. After the ceremony, a quick stop at Amlwch Harbour and the shoreline near Beaumaris for some photos, everyone made their way to Tros Yr Afon near Penmon. This beautiful venue was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful bride and her handsome groom.
Telor and Lowri had thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and happy whilst sharing their special day, with ice cream and drinks on arrival, and rugby on big screens for the die-hard supporters. They even included a box full of flip flops so ladies wearing high-heels could dance all night in comfort!
Everything came together perfectly to make this an unforgettable day. We were made to feel so welcome by family and guests alike, and everyone was so helpful.
This couple have an amazing bond, their speeches really made everyone laugh but highlighted what an amazing couple they are, talented, intelligent and made for each other.
Telor and Lowri, thank you for a brilliant day, we don’t have any doubt that your journey together will be filled with love and laughter…and happy ever after ♥

Helen & George

Helen & George tied the knot yesterday in Tros Yr Afon, a beautiful 19th century manor house near Penmon. Helen looked utterly stunning, and George, so handsome, what a perfect looking couple. The day was built around fun and happiness with a hog roast, bucking bronco and even a casino evening. We had a hard time with this post, how do you pick just a few photos to sum up such an amazing day as yesterday, it’s impossible. In the end we just had to be strict and pick a selection, but we can’t wait to show you the rest!

Thank you both making us a part of your thoroughly enjoyable and special day, see you very soon xx

Rain, rain, rain.

Nothing but rain all this weekend, so no chance for any decent outdoor photography. So here’s a quick post of a shot from January this year. This was a 1 hour nighttime exposure of Penmon lighthouse. The Earth’s rotation during a long exposure like this shows in the trails that the stars make in the sky. Polaris, the North star is just out of shot top left and if you line up your camera to face it, all the other stars in the sky will appear to circle around it. The orange/pink colour in the sky is ambient light from streetlights in Llandudno and Anglesey.
Hope you all had a great weekend 🙂
