Barry and Elin were married in St Eilian’s church on Saturday. After a week of heatwave weather, their day dawned a little cooler and a little breezier, perfect for a wedding.
Although weddings over the last few months have been restricted due to the circumstances, this couple embraced the intimacy of a smaller wedding, and added some beautiful touches to make their day extra special. From the binding of hands with a Celtic rope and the involvement of the children, to the stunning wedding car and the best smelling petal confetti we’ve come across! Everything just fitted together perfectly and made for a fantastic celebration.
Thank you, Barry and Elin, for a really enjoyable day with you and all your guests. We hope you like the photographs as much as we loved taking them.
It would hardly be an understatement to say what a tough year this has been, this couple know this all too well. Leilla & Nathan were meant to get married in 2020, but after having to change their date more than once, they finally made it down the aisle yesterday, and we could not have wished for a more perfect day.
This couple are completely in tune with one another, it’s easy to see the strong connection they have, and this was also evident in their moving wedding vows and speeches which meant hardly anyone had a dry eye afterwards.
Although circumstances meant that this amazing couple could not have the wedding they had planned, and could not have all the guests that they wanted to be present, we know they made the best of their day anyway and it felt incredibly special.
Leilla and Nathan, thank you for choosing us to photograph your day, and to you and your families and guests for making us feel so welcome. We loved being a part of it and we know you are going to have an amazing life together. We are looking forward to sharing your bigger celebration when circumstances allow.
We’ve been really quiet on here lately, mainly due to the strange times we are experiencing at the moment. But rest assured we are still here, still working when and however we can and doing our best to keep everyone safe whilst we do so. We hope you are all keeping safe and well too.
We’ve had a busy weekend, and we met the fantastic Caleb yesterday, what a gorgeous young man. Even though he has had to get used to people wearing masks all around him and not being able to see our smiles, he was still full of his own. We love this image of him sitting in a basket, totally rocking a lion hat. Thanks for a fantastic shoot Jennifer and Caleb. We would love to see you back again soon anytime 🙂
This little man is the gorgeous Oliver. He’s just turned one and wanted to celebrate in true Superhero style by demolishing a cake all by himself. And we must say he did an amazing job! We had a fantastic morning with Oliver and his family and can’t wait to see what kind of Superhero he’ll turn out to be 🙂
This is Noah. We met his big brother Theo when he came for his first birthday bash, and today he came back to help Noah with his.
Noah had no hesitation is jumping straight into his cake, and made short work of destroying it perfectly. Of course Theo did help a little bit!
We had great fun with this wonderful pair of boys. Thanks for a fun morning 🙂
Baby Albie came for a baby shoot today. Just 10 days old and so handsome. For such a young man he was very alert, very strong but also very well behaved. He posed beautifully for us 🙂 We had a lovely morning photographing him and his very patient Mum and Dad.
Thank you for a lovely morning Betsan, Adam and Albie. See you soon xx
Telor and Lowri were married yesterday at St Eleth’s church in Amlwch in a ceremony that was beautiful and unique with lots of laughing, a few tears and a glass of wine too!
After a horrendous day of rain on Friday, this couple were blessed with blue skies and sunshine all day for their wedding, and we made the most of it. After the ceremony, a quick stop at Amlwch Harbour and the shoreline near Beaumaris for some photos, everyone made their way to Tros Yr Afon near Penmon. This beautiful venue was the perfect backdrop for a beautiful bride and her handsome groom.
Telor and Lowri had thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and happy whilst sharing their special day, with ice cream and drinks on arrival, and rugby on big screens for the die-hard supporters. They even included a box full of flip flops so ladies wearing high-heels could dance all night in comfort! Everything came together perfectly to make this an unforgettable day. We were made to feel so welcome by family and guests alike, and everyone was so helpful.
This couple have an amazing bond, their speeches really made everyone laugh but highlighted what an amazing couple they are, talented, intelligent and made for each other.
Telor and Lowri, thank you for a brilliant day, we don’t have any doubt that your journey together will be filled with love and laughter…and happy ever after ♥
Special thanks to the following amazing people for helping to make the day perfect:
Anglesey has many beautiful venues for a wedding, so it was no surprise that Jenny and Jo chose picturesque Trearddur Bay for their wedding.
It wasn’t the sunniest of days, but it stayed dry and the beaming brides and their guests more than made up for the lack of sunshine.
After an emotional ceremony, the brides and their guests made their way to the edge of the beach for some photos and then we escaped with just the brides over to Porth Dafarch for some quieter photos on the headland.
This wonderful couple never stopped smiling at each other and it was so touching to see what an amazing bond they have with each other and their families, and so much love all around!
This couple went the extra mile to surprise each other throughout their day with thoughtful touches here and there, and an amazing choreographed dance with their children to kick start the evening!
We really enjoyed photographing this fantastic couple, Jenny and Jo we wish you nothing but love and happiness for your lives together. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Jenny and Dave were married at the Management Centre in Bangor this weekend, a beautiful location with stunning views across the Menai Straits. We knew as soon as we met Jenny and Dave that we were going to enjoy being a part of their Wedding day. Their easy banter and relaxed happiness was infectious and we couldn’t wait for their day to arrive. On the morning of their wedding both Bride and Groom were totally calm with barely any nerves showing at all, we could see that this was going to be a fun and relaxed day, a joining of two people so clearly meant to be together.
After the ceremony we took advantage of the venue’s amazing courtyard, the gorgeous views, and the stunning looking Bride, Groom and guests to get some group photos before the happy couple sat down for their Wedding Breakfast. A quick visit afterwards back to Amlwch, to include family members that couldn’t be at the wedding, just reinforced what a caring and thoughtful couple these two are, with family being the most important thing in their lives.
Jenny and Dave, thank you so much for letting us photograph your day. We think you are a beautiful couple both inside and out and we wish you nothing but love and laughter for your future.
Special thanks to the following talented people that made this amazing day complete:
This total ray of sunshine is Isabella. We’ve never seen such a smiley little girl, she was truly a joy to photograph! So photogenic and so happy. She danced, laughed and posed beautifully for us and we had a lovely afternoon watching her destroy her first birthday cake.
Thank you for a fab afternoon Isabella, can’t wait to see you again soon 🙂
